Biovalys is the authorised distributor for Switzerland of the Pollet® ranges — a Belgian manufacturer recognised for over 260 years for its expertise in biotechnology and ecological cleaning.

Our mission

Supporting the biological transition of professional cleaning

Since 1 June 2026, Swiss regulations require cleaning companies and food industry players to gradually transition to biological cleaning products.

Biovalys was created to meet this need: giving Swiss professionals direct access to proven probiotic and biotechnological ranges, with local support from advice through to delivery.

Why are companies massively switching to bio?

While the law does not mandate the "organic" label, the transition is happening on a largely voluntary basis for several strategic reasons:

  • Occupational health and safety

    The Labour Act (LTr) requires employers to protect their employees' health. Biological and probiotic products drastically reduce the risk of allergies, burns or inhalation of toxic vapours for cleaning staff.

  • Environmental certifications

    Many Swiss facilities seek to obtain or maintain the ISO 14001 standard (environmental management). Using ecological cleaning products is a valued criterion for achieving it.

  • Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)

    Brand image is crucial. Swiss companies want to demonstrate their environmental credentials to customers and partners.

    Birth of Pollet® in Belgium

    Pollet is a family company, founded in 1763, which has grown into an innovative and sustainable leader in the cleaning markets, across more than 17 countries.

  2. 1993
    Construction of the brand-new factory

    Construction of the brand-new factory in Tournai, Belgium.

  3. 2006
    Ecolabel certification

    Pollet receives the Ecolabel certification.

  4. 2019
    21st-century probiotic cleaning

    Pollet launches the PolVita range, containing billions of beneficial bacteria that cover every corner of your surfaces, creating a protective natural microflora while providing continuous cleaning and destroying bad odours.

  5. 2024
    Development of the exclusive AllerClean range

    Programme supported by the Belgian government and the European Commission for innovation. Creation of Biovalys.

  6. Sept. 2026
    Rollout of the Pollet range in Switzerland by Biovalys Sàrl

    Launch of the distribution of Pollet® ranges across the whole of Switzerland, with delivery to all 26 cantons.
